Two Men Destroying A National Park In Nevada | Visitors Caught Them In Camera!
A video shared on social media captured two visitors destroying ancient rock formations in the National Park in Nevada. National park rangers are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men’s damaging ancient rock formations at Lake Mead National Recreation Area. Followingly the suspects could face federal charges for vandalizing protected land. Let’s look closely into the incident.

According to the footage from April 7 happened on Sunday at 5.45 pm. A man in a red long-sleeved t-shirt and a man in a black short-sleeved t-shirt were vandalizing the rocks. Meanwhile, one young girl seems to be one of the men’s daughters screaming frighteningly pleading with her dad not to fall. They were pushing wide slabs of sandstone to the ground and breaking into tiny pieces of dust.
The men are facing accusations of vandalism, characterized by the National Park Service as “an act of cultural violence” and deemed illegal.
Ancient Rock Formations At Lake Mead
Lots of people love to visit the huge area of 2,300 square miles of mountain and desert canyon near Las Vegas. Almost 6 million tourists come here every year. Also, these resources are ancient and formed millions of years ago.
According to John Haynes, the recreation area’s public information officer vandals could face six months of jail time and a $5,000 fine. He even shows his disappointment in such a valuable federally protected area. Also, urge the public to share any information about illegal or irresponsible acts on protected public land.
