The Southern Marin Fire District received a helicopter at about 7:40 p.m. Sunday. The thermal imaging from the Henry-1 helicopter spotted the man 40 feet above the shore. The rescue team feared the man would slip off at any time.

So, they communicate with him saying “Don’t let go man. Don’t let go, OK?” the rescuer told the hiker. “I got you, brother.”

Finally man was safely rescued and the medical team examined him. This took place on the Batter Alexander Trail, emphasizing the danger of cliffs and urging hikers to exercise caution and avoid climbing near the edges.
