Muden appeared on Britain’s Got Talent in Series 10 for the first time. Her performance impressed the judges and she advanced onto the following round. And she revealed all the scrunched-up pieces of paper revealed the correct answer except Simon’s which said ‘770’, to which she responded ‘witches can’t always be perfect’. Then she asked Amanda to reveal her card (four of spades) before revealing a card she had drawn the three of spades. Then she revealed an actual spade from behind the card to make the four of spades. Alesha commented it as ‘intelligent’, adding ‘it was great to see a female comic up there’. Amanda stated that, ‘a complete fit with Britain’s Got Talent’.
In the Semi Finals, she had Simon put his finger on an autograph yet not tell anybody . Then she asked David to test her on ‘The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes’. It was before the pair stood back to back and David turned to pages 150 and 30 in his copy. Before Mandy did the same in another copy and seemingly read the first words on both pages, before going on to reveal that her copy were truly blank. Mandy said that Simon were thinking of someone very famous, as she believed this to be Elton John as a man dressed as Elton John appeared on the stage. It was in reality Simon were thinking of Michael Jackson, before a man dressed as Michael Jackson then appeared on the stage. Simon stated Mandy’s style of act as ‘old style, seaside humour’. David also added how Mandy reminded him of Tommy Cooper, stating his belief that she were both a ‘great magician’ and ‘very funny’ like Cooper were. Mandy reached the Judges Vote, before it resorted back to the public vote wherein she came third. Therefore eliminating her from the competition.
