Background
Ethiopian-born performer Helen Wonjila learned foot juggling in China, at Wuqiao acrobatic and art school of China outside of Beijing. After the studies in China, Helen went to Germany to continue her circus career.
Eventually, she worked in the Middle East and Turkey, before being hired to work at a safari park in San Diego, where she now lives. Later, Helen was hired by LadyBEAST to tour with the Venardos Circus.
Also, she’s performed at NBA and hockey halftime shows. Helen has been working as a freelance artist for over 13 years, with the excellence of nearly 10 years in the field.

Audition
Helen started to juggle synced with Levitating by Dua Lipa. While lying on her back, she spun a sparkling disc on her foot, and then gradually added three more discs occupying her feet and hands.
She tossed the discs between her hands and feet before throwing them aside to juggle an entire table. “This was fun, we were all super excited. I mean, I could have kept watching what you were doing. You could have juggled for me for a whole hour… I think people are going to love you.” Sofía Vergara commented.
Amazed by Helen the foot juggler, Simon Cowell commented “When I see people like you, and I see your daughter, and how much this means to you. It’s the best feeling in the world.“ All the judges voted this amazing performer a ‘yes’ and sent her to the upcoming rounds.
