Who are the Ghetto Kids?
The Ghetto Kids is a dance group based in Kampala, Uganda, founded by Dauda Kavuma in 2014 and registered as an NGO. Formerly they were known as Triplets Ghetto Kids.
The kids were orphaned at a young age and had to fend for themselves on the streets of Uganda. Despite their difficult circumstances, the kids found solace in dance and began performing on the streets to make ends meet. They got a world attraction after featuring “Sitya Loss” – by Eddy Kenzo in 2014.
