BGT Fans Slammed The Show for Not Giving Northants Singers a Golden Buzzer

Britain’s Got Talent fans slammed the show for not giving the Golden Buzzer to the Northants Singers Choir, the best choir ever on the show. On the third episode of BGT season 17, the Northants Sings Out choir team participated. 66 locals from Northamptonshire, aged between 25 and 65, participated in the audition with the group’s conductor, Gareth Fuller. At the end of their performance, the audience begged for a golden buzzer, but they received four yeses and moved on to the next stage.

 Bruno, Alesha, and Amanda stood up, danced to their “Show me love” performance, and gave standing ovations. Bruno Tonioli commented, “What can I say, Sensational, a new maestro the way you conducted, you have them in your hands, Sublime.” Alesha Dixon stated, “You just uplifted me, and you, my man, deserve respect. I think you might be one of the best choir we’ve ever had on the show.”

However, Fans expected a golden buzzer for Northants Singers Choir and they started slamming the show on social media. In the YouTube video comments section, fans commented, “How come they didn’t get the golden buzzer that is such a golden buzzer moment?”, “they should have taken the golden buzzer, Incredible.” and “Where was the golden buzzer? Routing for these guys all the way. How uplifting was this?! Just incredible!”. Some other followers commented, “My fave act tonight. Just brilliant. If every church choir was like this, churches would be packed.” 

Fans on Twitter stated, “.Wait, how did this dance act get the golden buzzer over the choir? #BGT poor choice.”
