The legislation already passed by the House and now under Senate review bundles key Trump policy priorities including tax cuts, energy reforms, immigration changes, defense spending, and debt reduction. Supporters claim it empowers American industry and working families. Critics warn the bill’s 1,000+ pages could add trillions to the $36T national debt.
Despite the criticism, U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent insists the financial impact is manageable. The calculator is now live, aiming to rally public support by showing what’s at stake for individual paychecks if the bill becomes law.
