A search operation is underway in Alaska after a plane carrying ten people went missing. The aircraft, identified as a Cessna 208B Grand Caravan operated by Bering Air, disappeared while flying from Unalakleet to Nome.
According to Alaska State Troopers and the Coast Guard, communication with the plane was lost about 12 miles offshore.
Despite adverse weather conditions hampering the search efforts, rescue teams continue their mission in hopes of locating the missing aircraft.
