President Donald Trump didn’t mince words when reacting to the global ‘No Kings Day’ protests that filled streets in major cities just a day earlier. Exiting Air Force One, he called the demonstrations ‘a joke’ and insisted he’s far from royalty. ‘I’m not a king,’ Trump declared to reporters. ‘I work my ass off to make our country great. That’s all it is. I’m not a king at all.’ He dismissed the crowds as small, ineffective, and unrepresentative, accusing billionaire George Soros and ‘radical left lunatics’ of funding the brand-new signs.
These protests mark the second ‘No Kings’ event since June, with large turnouts in New York, Washington D.C., London, and beyond, all aimed squarely at the Trump administration’s policies and perceived authoritarian leanings.
‘I looked at the people. They’re not representative of this country, and I looked at all the brand new signs paid for. I guess it was paid for by Soros and other radical left lunatics. It looks like it was worth checking out. The demonstrations were very small, very ineffective and the people were whacked out.’
