Selena Gomez is being called out over an Instagram post that she has now deleted! The popular singer and actress has posted a video of her series “Only Murderers in the Building.” The followers are accusing Selena of breaking the SAG-AFTRA strike rules. The video seems like a post to promote the series and many are mad over her inconsiderate actions. However, the post is now taken out of her profile.
Selena has posted a video of the Hulu series with the caption “Missing and wanting.” She has also tagged the official Instagram account of “Only Murderers in the Building.” The post has been in Selena’s profile for around 15 hours. Even within a short amount of time, the post received over 1.1 million likes. However, she received massive backlash from followers.
The ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike rules prohibit celebrities from promoting work through any kind of press interviews or social media. The post did not seemingly encourage her fans and followers to watch the series. However, the video of the set and her tag of “Only Murderers in the Building.” left fans divided. One follower quickly pointed out she was “tone deaf” to the strike rules.
The Hulu series is currently airing season 3. Steve Martin and Martin Short are co-starring in the series. The series has shown success over its seasons. The third season of Only Murderers in the building includes the appearance of many Hollywood icons like Meryl Streep, Paul Rudd, and Ashley Park.
