A resident’s routine walk turned into a horror story when her dog dug up what appeared to be a human skull at a makeshift junkyard in LA County’s Antelope Valley.
The chilling find happened Sunday near 124th Street East and Pearblossom Highway in unincorporated Palmdale, on property listed as Speed Motors Auto Repair and Body. Investigators from the LA County Sheriff’s Department swarmed the site, littered with old vehicles, appliances, and debris, zeroing in on a blue SUV and a large storage container.
‘It was far too early in the investigation to tell how many remains were recovered,’ LASD Homicide Bureau Lt. Vizcarra told KTLA.
This marks at least the third suspicious human remains discovery in LA this year, sparking widespread concern. Just last month, 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez’s dismembered body was found in a Hollywood Tesla trunk linked to an R&B artist, with no arrests yet. The next day, charred remains turned up in a South LA tow yard, leading to a woman’s arrest.
