Background
Denise is an opera singer. She was just 16 when she was discovered by a talent scout at a school production of Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat. In 2004, she won ITV’s reality show “Operatunity”. She performed as a lead in the 2003 English National Opera (ENO) special performance of Verdi’s opera Rigoletto in the Coliseum, which received the Prix Italia 2003. She is an honorary ambassador at the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) and a former patron at Douglas Macmillan Hospice in North Staffordshire. At that time, she was the Cultural Ambassador for the 2012 London Olympics. and Stefan Andrusyschyn is a pianist, classical accordionist, and musical director.

Denise and Stefan came to the stage with the help of the hosts. They introduced themselves and described how they met 18 years ago at an award ceremony, and they introduced their family. They were quite amusing and made everyone laugh. Their younger kid joined them on stage and waited backstage. Denise talked about her cancer battle story. The therapy affected her voice. She mentioned, “I’m having to rebuild it.” Stefan started playing the piano, and Denise started singing “Climb Every Mountain.” Her performance was incredible, and Bruno Tonioli had tears in his eyes.

In the semi-finals, Denise and Stefan performed “You’ll Never Walk Alone.” Their performance impressed the audience and the judges. All four judges gave standing ovations to their performances.
