A baby boy just made history born from an embryo frozen for over 30 years! Lindsey and Tim Pierce, an Ohio couple, welcomed their son last week after years of battling infertility. Through embryo adoption, they used donated embryos frozen since 1994, setting what their doctor believes is a record at 11,148 days in storage. It’s a story of hope that’s melting hearts everywhere.
This concept of embryo adoption has been around since the 1990s but is gaining traction now.
“I felt all along that these three little hopes, these little embryos, deserved to live just like my daughter did,” said Linda Archerd, who donated the embryos.
Public reaction has been intense, with many on social media calling it a ‘miracle of science,’ including influencer and mom blogger Sarah Jane, who tweeted, ‘This gives me chills—life finds a way!’
