In a jaw-dropping act of disrespect, a Texas State student was caught mocking Charlie Kirk’s assassination at a campus memorial. A viral video on X shows the student reenacting Kirk’s death, using profanity against Turning Point USA members, and even spitting near them. The footage, described as ‘reprehensible,’ has left many stunned.
This incident unfolded during a TPUSA-hosted event on campus, shortly after Kirk’s tragic death at Utah Valley University.
‘I will not tolerate behaviour that mocks, trivialises, or promotes violence on our campuses. It is antithetical to our TXST values,’ said President Kelly Damphouse on X.
Governor Greg Abbott also slammed the act, quote-tweeting the clip and demanding immediate expulsion. ‘Mocking assassination must have consequences,’ he wrote, echoing public outrage.
