Suho is a 31-year-old South Korean singer who has been in the Korean Entertainment industry for 11 years. He couldn’t hold a fan meeting before leaving for the military. A press conference was not held to welcome the actor after the military. “I have finally been discharged! First, I want to say before anything else that I missed EXO-L the most. While I spent some time away from all of you during my service, thanks to you, it was a meaningful time that allowed me to think even more of EXO-L.” shared Suho in a handwritten letter to his fans.
After he returned from the Military, he announced he will release his second mini album Gray Suit.

Why should all men in South Korea serve in the Military?
Conscription, under the Constitution of South Korea, states that it is mandatory for all male citizens between the ages of 18 and 35 years to serve in the Military. The duration of the service differs according to the military branch they serve. Usually, Active soldiers serve for a period of 18 months, Navy soldiers for 20 months, and Air force soldiers for 21 months.
Male citizens between the above age range go through an ‘Impairment and Disability evaluation’ before enlisting in the “first citizen service” mandate.
