Famed horror author Stephen King believes history will turn against Donald Trump, predicting that many of his current supporters will later deny ever voting for him. In a recent interview with The Sunday Times, King said a cultural backlash is inevitable in the decades to come.

King also referenced his 1979 novel The Dead Zone, where a dangerous populist politician rises to power. He said many would have dismissed such a character as fiction, but reality has proven otherwise.
