Solange Kardinaly is part of the third generation of illusionists who performed a two minutes of magical quick change synced to the song “Material Girl” by Madonna at AGT 2024. This amazing act prompted Simon Cowell to declare , “That was magic” midway through the act. She won all the four votes from the judges, making Howie Mandel say, “You’re the best quick-change artist we have ever seen, you really are.”

Background
Solangee’s grandpa and father were also magicians which allowed her to work with wonderful illusions since four years old. With the act of quick change costume she was in several festivals of magic, televisions, circus, all over the world. With only 10 years old, she won a revelation prize at the Magic Valongo international competition (Portugal 2001). At 15 years old, Solange was a magician teacher in a famous reality show on Portuguese television (TVI – Circo das celebridades 2006).
In 2018 she was the first woman in 26 years to win the 1st magic prize at the international Almussafes Magic festival in Spain. The same year was awarded as magician of the year in Portugal, being also the first woman to receive this award. In 2023 on the show “Lo show dei record” on Italian TV Show, she broke the Guinness Record for the most quick costume change illusions in 1 minute.

Solange Kardinaly is married to the professional magician Arkadio José Jiménez Rodríguez, who do a wide-ranging magic presentation that focuses on spectacular illusions. He competed in the “Magic French Championship” in 2006, winning first place in both the Manipulation and the “Audience” categories. Following this, in 2007, he received the “Mandrakes D’Or” in Paris.

Simon Cowell emphasized the massive online popularity of her audition, declaring that “the numbers don’t lie,” and went on to suggest that she could be a perfect fit for a Las Vegas show.
