Audition
Schumacher’s audition on AGT 2024 was filled with laughter and surprise. They used masks and costumes to transform into various animals, leaving everyone in stitches.
They transferred themselves in to a dog, zebra and a giraffe changing the costumes.
Sofia Vergara commented, “What is it? Is it like a dance or a puppet or a transformation quick changing. I don’t know I’m like very confused cause like I thought it was ridiculous., it was like nonsense. I don’t know what it is but I really think that you deserve this ”
And then, she pressed the Golden Buzzer, showing her support for their unique act.
Howie Mandel added, “Sofia, why did you made this decision, You shot the world!” I don’t know that was the most fun thing we’ve had all day all week ” Sofia replied.
The audience was in cheers as Schumacher advanced to the live shows.
Quarter-Final
Schumacher, Sofia’s second Golden Buzzer choice, entered the quarterfinals with high hopes and newfound confidence. However, their quarterfinal performance didn’t go as planned.
During their act, which involved costume changes to become various animals set to the instrumental “Party Sex Drink Repeat,” Simon Cowell hit his red X buzzer, signaling his disappointment.
Sofia, although clearly upset, defended her decision to support them, calling the duo “unique and fun.” Simon admitted that while their act was funny the first time, he expected it to evolve, but felt it didn’t.
Heidi found their performance “so bad, it’s good,” while Howie emphasized the importance of their message about friendship.
Despite their efforts, Schumacher did not receive enough votes to enter the top 5 of the night and was eliminated from the competition.
