The family of Lance Twiggs, the transgender partner of alleged Charlie Kirk assassin Tyler Robinson, says Twiggs expressed intense hostility toward conservatives and Christians in the years leading up to the Utah shooting.
In an interview with Fox News Digital, a relative who asked to remain anonymous said Twiggs “hates conservatives and Christians” and had grown “very angry” since turning 18. “He was not raised that way, but over the years he became detached and radicalized,” the relative said.

The two shared a $1,800-per-month townhouse in St. George, Utah, according to public records. The FBI and Utah officials said Twiggs is cooperating fully with investigators and has not been charged or accused of wrongdoing.

The family member said both Twiggs and Robinson were active in online gamer communities, which may have influenced their views. “I think Tyler got a whole lot worse in the year they have been dating. They are big gamers, and obviously they have that group that influences them as well as others,” she explained. She added that her family wants justice for the killing and for anyone involved to be held accountable.
The Charlie Kirk Assassination
Charlie Kirk, 31, was shot and killed on September 10 at Utah Valley University during the first stop of his “American Comeback Tour.” He was struck in the neck shortly after taking a question about transgender mass shooters. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is leading the investigation. Robinson’s father recognized him in surveillance footage released by the FBI and reported him to authorities.
Officials confirmed that Twiggs has been “extremely cooperative” and said there is no evidence at this time linking Twiggs to the shooting plot. The case remains ongoing as investigators continue to gather evidence and question potential witnesses.
