States of emergency have been declared, with NYC Mayor Eric Adams warning, ‘Stay where you are if you can. Don’t drive.’ Roads are flooding, and crews are racing to respond.
This is the second flash flood threat for New Yorkers in just two weeks, with up to 5 inches of rain expected.
‘I am urging all New Yorkers to stay vigilant, stay informed, and use caution as we expect excessive rainfall,’ said Governor Kathy Hochul.
