Recently, Mattel executive and Barbie executive producer Robbie Brenner shared the hope of creating another movie project. Let’s have a closer look at this new ‘Polly Pocket’ movie in the making.
Brenner mentioned how Mattel is ready to bring many of its properties to life in the upcoming years. ‘Polly Pocket’ is written and directed by the famous director Lena Dunham. The popular actress who plays the character ‘Emily’ in the show ‘Emily in Paris’ is ready to make her appearance as ‘Polly.’
“As a child who was obsessed with Polly Pocket, this is a real dream come true, and I can’t wait to bring these tiny toys to the big screen,” said Lily Collins on Instagram.
Over 45 movies are hoping to hit the big screen, according to Robbie Brenner and Mattel. Many of the movies are still in pre-stages of development. However, 14 movie titles have reached their script developments. Uno, American Girl, Barney, and Polly Pocket are some such titles.
