Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan spent his final weeks fighting serious health issues while finding peace with his past, according to a source close to the family.
Hogan, born Terry Bollea, died Thursday at age 71 from cardiac arrest at his home in Clearwater, Florida. In his final days, the WWE icon was dealing with a “very weak heart,” shortness of breath, and required oxygen support, a family insider told the Daily Mail
“He was suffering from shortness of breath, got tired easily, had lost a lot of weight, and was on oxygen,” the source said. Despite the physical decline, those around Hogan say he remained aware and intentional about how he wanted to spend his final weeks.
