Beyoncé Announces Renaissance World Tour Concert Film!

Beyoncé has announced a new concert film based on this year’s grand tour for her 2022 album ‘Renaissance’. This film is said to be titled, “Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé”. Right after performing the final show of her “Renaissance World Tour” in Kansas City, Missouri, Beyoncé unveiled the official trailer for the concert film/documentary. It is coming to theaters on Friday, 1st of December. Let’s dive in to find out more details about the new film.

Beyoncé to Take the Big Screen!

The film is said to open with a voiceover by Beyoncé saying, “When I am performing, I am nothing but free. The goal of this tour was to create a place where everyone is free. A place where no one is judged. Start over, start fresh, create the new — that’s what the Renaissance is about.”

Press Release issued about the event explained that the film is “about Beyoncé’s intention, hard work, and involvement in every aspect of the production. It also shows her creative mind and purpose to create her legacy, and master her craft.” The film will be available in IMAX at AMC and Dolby Cinema at AMC as well as other premium large format screens.

Tickets are priced starting at $22 and will be available at the above venues. This movie will also hit the screen on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for at least four weeks. The trailer for the film was unveiled by Beyoncé on Monday. Fans are excited to a frenzy until the release. The project is also dedicated to her Uncle Johnny, who died from an AIDS-related illness. So, some fans tweeted that the film is to be released on World AIDS Day.

It is reported that Beyoncé will have generated $4.4 billion for the American economy by the end of the Renaissance tour, according to the New York Times. This is great news for the artist, who won four Grammy wins for the Renaissance album this year. Beyoncé has previously released concert films, documentaries, and extravagant music video collections via DVD.
