She claims they have orchestrated attempts to blacklist her from Hollywood. The basis of this blacklisting stems back to the year 2009 following Mo’Nique’s refusal to promote the film “Precious” without additional payment, and her 2010 Oscar speech where she excluded mention of Perry, Winfrey, and director Lee Daniels.

Recently, Mo’Nique has escalated these claims by asserting that she possesses audio evidence. In this recording, Tyler Perry supposedly acknowledges he had a hand in spreading the perception of Mo’Nique being challenging to work with. She has publicly announced this new development in an interview with Shannon Sharpe on his podcast, Club Shay Shay.

In Mo’Nique’s perspective regarding Oprah Winfrey, she perceives the renowned star as frequently overstepping boundaries, particularly highlighted when Oprah featured Mo’Nique’s brother Geral Imes on her daytime talk show. Mo’Nique had previously disclosed in 2008 that Geral Imes had molested her during her childhood years between 7 and 11.
