Miley Cyrus Secures First Grammy Victory with 'Flowers'

Miley kicked off the Grammy ceremony with a win for best pop solo performance for her hit song “Flowers,” receiving the award from Mariah Carey.

Cyrus later performed "Flowers" live and celebrated her accomplishment by tweaking the song's lyrics, singing, "Started to cry, then remembered I just won my first Grammy!"

Flowers topped the Billboard Hot 100 for eight weeks after its debut, and broke Spotify’s record for most streams in a single week with more than 100 million listens.

Once Cyrus got nominated for the Grammy in last November, she reacted in an Instagram post writing, "It's fun to be nominated & exciting to win but having my music LOVED around the world is the real trophy."
